Remarkables Grand Traverse
The Grand Traverse is New Zealand’s premier alpine day trip. The route, accessed from the Remarkables ski field, takes in the summits of Double and Single Cone with jaw-dropping exposure and views down to Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu, almost 2km vertically below.

Single Cone Ascent
The Single Cone Ascent in the Remarkables, is a fantastic one-day adventure and an excellent introduction to mountaineering for ambitious trekkers. Scramble the North Ridge with the security of a rope to the summit and its views over Queenstown and the Wakatipu Basin. The descent includes an exciting abseil.

Treble Cone Backcountry Tour
The Treble Cone ski field, near Wānaka provides lift access to 1900m and acres of backcountry terrain of the Motutapu Conservation area. Untracked snow is available long after the ski field is chopped up.
Heli-Ski and Splitboard Tour
The peaks of the Harris Mountains and Buchannan Mountains are a short flight from the Matukituki Valley. They provide excellent viewpoints over Lake Wānaka and the peaks of Mount Aspiring National Park. Flying into these remote locations allows an uncrowded and remote ski touring day out.

Remarkables Ice and Mixed Climbing
The Remarkables mountain range near Queenstown offers the most accessible winter ice and mixed climbing playground in the country. A number of routes can be packed into a day at the climbing venues of the West Face of Telecom Tower, Alta Ice, and Touchdown on the South Face.
