This trip gave us exactly what we were hoping for. We wanted to fully immerse ourselves in nature and discover its diversity. In just a few days, we experienced river, forests, mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, snow, sun, wind, and rain. Each day felt different, and that variety made the journey incredibly rich and memorable. We were also looking for a physical challenge, but not something overwhelming. The balance was perfect. It pushed us enough to feel proud of what we achieved, yet left us with enough energy to pause, enjoy the scenery, and truly take it all in. There were many moments when we felt in awe of the landscapes around us. Standing in front of vast mountains and glaciers made us feel small in the best possible way. It was humbling and powerful at the same time. Finally, sharing the experience in good company made it even more meaningful. Struggling together during tougher sections, encouraging each other, and celebrating the small victories created a strong sense of connection. In short, we achieved everything we hoped for and created memories. Difficult to tell what the best part is but below are a few: 1. The unique combination of physical effort and pure appreciation of the landscape. Hiking through such impressive scenery while feeling our bodies working made every view even more rewarding. 2. Returning to the hut after a full day of walking. There was something incredibly satisfying about arriving tired but happy, taking off our packs, and knowing we had earned that rest. 3. The bittersweet moment of reaching the car to head back to town. There was a sense of accomplishment and gratitude for the adventure we had just lived, mixed with a touch of sadness knowing it was coming to an end.
