How to Book a Trip or Course
Registering Interest
If you are interested in booking onto one of our trips or courses, you can contact us by email on: info@wanakamountainguides.co.nz, or by phone or WhatsApp on: +64(0)272112400.
Alternatively, you can register your interest using the links below. The information you provide will allow us to provide the best advice. A member of our team will then be in contact to discuss your requirements. There is no obligation by registering with us. We usually reply to all enquiries within 24 hours. If you haven’t received an email reply from us after 1 day, please check your Spam folder, or get in touch by phone or WhatsApp.
Booking Form
If you have already contacted us or registered for a trip or course, we also require clients to complete a Booking Form before confirming the booking. This includes an acknowledgement of our Risk Disclosure and that you have read and understood our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Trip Payments
You must have completed a Booking Form prior to making a payment for a trip of course.
We accept payments by domestic or international bank transfer, Wise, PayPal, or credit card. Note that there is a surcharge for using PayPal or a credit card.
We’re proud to have joined the ranks as a Love Wānaka Impact Partner – committing 1% of our business’ proceeds to support local environmental efforts. This means that every time you book a trip or course with us, you’re helping to protect and regenerate of the environment at the heart of our home. If you would like to find out more about the Love Wānaka Community Fund or make an additional donation, see the link below.
We also are a supporting partner of Protect our Winters NZ. This charity focuses on educational initiatives and community-based empowerment to protect New Zealand’s’ alpine environment from the damaging effects of climate change for the benefit of all New Zealanders and future generations. We encourage our guests to make a $10 donation when booking a trip or course with us.
Trip and Course Deposits
We require either full payment or deposit at the time of booking to secure your place on one of our trips or course.
| One day trips and courses | For 1-day trips and courses, we ask for full payment at the time of booking. |
| Short local group courses | For short local group courses we ask for a $200 deposit per person at the time of booking. |
| Multi-day group trips and courses | For multi-day group trips and courses we ask for a $600 deposit per person at the time of booking. |
| Multi-day private trips and courses | For multi-day private trips and courses we ask for a $1500 deposit per person at the time of booking. |
Use the links below to pay a deposit by credit card (4% surcharge). Make sure you have completed a Booking Form before making a payment. Alternatively, you can use the bank transfer details below.
Wise Payments
Domestic and international bank transfer or pay with a Wise account.
Please put your name and trip in the Description.
New Zealand Domestic or International Bank Transfers
International Bank transfers must include all bank transfer fees.

BSB numbers, sort codes, routing codes, or IBAN numbers: These are just different terms used overseas for bank, branch, and account numbers. The full Kiwibank account number starting with ‘38’ includes these details. Some banks may require a three-number Suffix so add another ‘0’ at the end.
